Well here is another caricature. This time another civilian, a Piper Archer II. This particular aircraft is near and dear to me as I was lucky enough to fly this aircraft. Some very dear friends gave me the gift of a first flight lesson and this is the aircraft I flew during that lesson. Great fun.

Here we go with another new caricature. This time a Currus SR-22. The caricature will become part of a patch/sticker for a client. Here I use it to create a really nice looking print. Tied down waiting to return to the skies.

Just finished a new art work. This time a 3/4 view King Air. The caricature was made for a patch design but I added a sky background and made this art print. I think it came out pretty good. Let me know wht you think.

Been working on this one for awhile in between other projects. This completes my WWII US Heavy Bomber collection,a Boeing B-29. Here is one of the most famous B-29’s Enola Gay…. as she look when first arriving at Tinian, 393rd BS 509th BG (VH).

In honor of the Marine Corps aviation centennial I put together this print of VMF(AW) 121 “Green Knights” aircraft. Joe Foss flew with VMF-121 on Guadalcanal in 1942, 70 years ago and this print shows his Wildcat and a “Green Knight” F-18 from today painted in the same colors. Grab on of these prints while they last. Semper Fi!

Back to air racing caricatures again. This time a hard luck purpose built racer that was very unique. Powered by Nissan automotive engines, this twin engine, twin boom racer never really did well and had quit a few teathing problems in the three years she raced. Best qualifying speed was 400.010 mph and best race finish was second in bronze heat. Unfortulately she was lost with her pilot in ’93’ if I am not mistaken. Still loved her unique look and the hope of future homebuilt racers invigorating the sport.

While I was at it, I also did another Mig killer, this one from VF-114 the Aardvarks. May 6th 1972 found this F-4J on a BARCAP mission take down a Mig-21. One of two Migs downed by VF-114 this day. I have always liked the VF-114 markings and wanted to do their F-14 for years. Maybe soon but for now this Phantom will have to do.

Wanted to try something differnt so for the first time I added landing gear to one of caricature profiles. The F-4 Phantom was the prefect choice. Here is the VMFA-333 Mig killing Phantom, this time with gear down and at rest. Let me know what you think.
