Okay after finishing the Fairchild B-52 print…I kept thinking it needed more character. So taking inspiration from Hank Caruso, and Skytoons Aviation Art here is the Bomber Boys. Which one do you like better?

Just finished a couple of B-52H commissions for a couple of clients so I thought I would combine the two into a special print. It is the holiday season so think of BHA caricatures when looking for that special gift.

Okay I think I finished. Did a bit of detailing and she is done. A Curtiss YP-37, faithfully restored and seen visiting the local airport, Cable Ca. Okay not really but how cool would it be to see this on the ramp at your local airport, or at the next Planes of Fame show. Prints are available for those looking for the perfect gift for those aviation geeks out there..

Inspired by a fellow artist, Ron Cole who is the master at creating photo realistic art, I decided to try my hand at it over the long weekend. Here is the result. A P-37 that has been restored and was visiting the local Cable Airport. This is mainly a lesson in highly reflective surface aircraft. I still have a bit of adjusting and tweaking to do. Small details etc. So let me know what you think.

Okay trying to get ahead of a few custom caricatures. Here is the latest. A Lancair Legacy named Spirit of America. Race 21 recently finished second in the Silver final at the Reno Air Races with a speed of 291 and change. Just this week on the way home from another air race, pilot Alan Crawford experienced an in-flight fire and had to put her down in a field. The aircraft was a total lose and Alan suffered serious burns. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family for a quick recovery.

This month the A-7 Corsair II flew its last operational flight. The Greek Air Force retired its Corsairs October 17th. So here is an update of my Greek Corsair. Long live the A-7.

Have not done a Spitfire in awhile so I thought I would do a few more. Here is the Speed Spitfire, N.17 that was prepared with an eye toward the speed record. She never made an attempt on the record because the German’s pushed the bar very high with their Me-209. Look for a Griffon powered Spit next.
