Here is my latest caricature. This time a RF-101C Voodoo from the 45th TRS/460th TRW during Vietnam. Any VooDoo drivers out there? Let me know what you think.

I have been working on this caricature idea for a few years now. Trying to get it just right. Finally I think I did it. The F-101 Voodoo, this one a CF-101 from the Canadian Air Defense Team that flew in the 1980 William Tell fighter meet. Hope you like it… and there should be a US version soon as well as an RF-101. Stay tuned…..

One Last Caricature for today. Again a S-3 but this time painted in a retro theme from WWII. I have a patch from VS-41 that is very retro looking and thought it would be fun to add that as the background. I usually just do the clean background look but this one was a special scheme and begged to have a little more of a unique look. Hope you like it.

Here is the next caricature another S-3 this time in early markings and a more colorful time. This bird flew with VS-41 the Shamrocks. I also painted a low viz scheme as they would have appeared just before retirement.

Just finished a new caricature for a client. This time a S-3B Viking from VS-35.. and the bird that acted as Navy 1 when Pres. George W. Bush trapped aboard CV-72, the USS Abraham Lincoln in 2003. Hope you all enjoy. Next will be an early high viz and low viz version in VS-41 the Shamrocks colors.

With all the F-111 fans out there I whipped up a retro scheme that I thought would look good on the old vark. Here is a Ardvark sporting the paint scheme worn by B-24’s flying with the 467th Bomb Group while flying from England with the 8th AF.
I may do a desert pink scheme in honor of the low level Polesti raid… seeing as the low level is better suited for the F-111

Encouraged by a friend here on FB I did a reverse retro scheme. This time historic WWII aircrft in current modern schemes. First up is the famous P-51D Mustang. The 57th FW out of Nellis AFB provides weapons and adversary training to AF pilots. This Mustang is ready to take to the sunny Nevada sky evaluate weapons performance.

Okay one last Heritage scheme. This time a USMC KC-130J Hercules, carrying the paint schemes used by USMC planes on Gaudalcanal. The red and white strips on the rudder have been painted over as has the red ball in the star. Semper Fi. All these Heritage schemes are available from my web site so if you like any of them just drop me a line.

Proposed paint scheme for one of the A-29B Super Tucanos that are competing with Beechcraft’s T-6II for light attack contracts. Using a WWII desert scheme I think this should be perfect for hot spots like Afghanistan and Iraq.
